Important Information Regarding Ventilation

We have a common problem with the ventilation.
Our property has a so-called exhaust system with a central fan that evacuates the used air. For the system to work, the valves at the top of the windows must be open. If the valves are closed there will be no natural draft and the old air will be left with unpleasant odors, moisture in the bathroom and condensation on the windows as a result. A further consequence of the closed valves are sticky doors and draft from the stairwell.
If you close the valves it will result in increased drag, and poor air quality, both for yourself and others.
