Security
QUESTION: What level of security do our doors and locks fulfil?
ANSWER: Our doors are so called security doors. Our locks comply with safety class 2. Since some insurance companies may require locks to be in security class 3, depending on what is of value in the apartment, you should therefore consult with your insurance company.
QUESTION: If I want my locks to comply with safety class 3 what should I do?
ANSWER: You could equip the door with an additional lock to achieve safety class 3. The best way is to contact a locksmith who has all knowledge.
QUESTION: If I lose a key can I get a new one and what do I do?
ANSWER: A new key can be purchased but only through the person who is responsible for the Condominium’s key systems. All keys in the system are recorded and delivered only by presentation of a requisition form, ID card and special control card. This is done at an authorised locksmith, in our case at Södra Vägens Låsservice.
QUESTION: Who has the Condominium"s key responsibility?
ANSWER: See (board).
QUESTION: If I lose a key and feel uncertain whether it can be used by someone else, who can get into my apartment without my permission, what do I do?
ANSWER: Should someone lose his key and I would like to make the lock unusable for the lost key, the lock must be either replaced or encoded. Thereafter, new keys can be ordered to the encoded/ replacement lock. Contact the Condominium"s Property Manager for more details.
As part of the neighborhood watch, we should all be aware of whether there are unauthorized persons in and around our house and garage. In case of doubt observe what is happening and ask if you can help the person to show that the person is observed.
